About the project

La Durée is a project by Fatos Üstek and Per Hüttner. It was born from a series of texts that the two created for the contemporary art magazine Nowiswere in 2010-11 and that resulted in a series of performances in London, New York and Philadelphia.

Versions of La Durée have been presented at Flat Time House in London, the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade, Tate Modern in London, at Eleusina outside Athens at Miramar outside Porto and at the old observatory in Besançon, France and at Spiral in Tokyo.

Üstek and Hüttner have also together created an Opera in Five Acts for David Roberts Art Foundation in London.
